My Dino Life Playing During Early Alpha
Bugs are documented. Superstitions are not.
Primal Park labeled My Dino Life Early Alpha on the Roblox page and asked players to expect bugs and a limited inventory. That sentence is the most honest patch note the game has. This page translates it into session rules so you stop inventing rituals when Shop fails to paint.
If you want the feature timeline, use the updates hub. If you want to play anyway, keep the starter checklist next to this article.
What Early Alpha is allowed to break
- HUD locks. Shop, Codes, and the skill tree can stay hidden until the first orb quest completes — or until you die once. Try both before you assume codes were removed. The how to redeem page lists the click path.
- Inventory limits. You will not get a full cosmetic warehouse. Do not plan a museum. Plan a Speed rank.
- Morph after death. Extra Life pickups do not always preserve the current body. The survival guide treats that as a fact, not a rumor.
- Node prices. Skill 3 costs drift. Read the live number.
- Performance. Morph animations hitch on phones. Lower graphics. A freeze is a wipe.
None of these mean you are bad at dinosaurs.
What we will not claim
We will not claim official VIP servers are a 10 Robux product. The Roblox universe flag currently says VIP servers are disabled. A chat seller offering a private file is covered on script safety.
We will not claim a full dinosaur stat sheet. Early Alpha has not published one. The species guide stays qualitative on purpose.
We will not claim the game is a finished live-service with a season roadmap. There is no Trello. There is a description paragraph and a skill column.
How to play around the unfinished parts
- Redeem
RELEASEearly so a crash does not waste the only official Cash gift. See codes. - Evolve in cover because the animation is a bug window as much as a PvP window.
- Buy Speed before vanity because a wipe can eat morph-tied ranks.
- Keep a second biome in mind. If Forest fails to stream orbs, Aquatic still exists on the map.
- Relog once when a prompt dies. If it still dies, stop clicking. That is a build issue.
Reporting versus rage
If you want to report a bug, use Roblox’s own report tools on the place page and, if it exists later, a Primal Park channel listed on links. Pasting a crash into a random dino Discord that asks for an executor is how accounts vanish.
SORRYFORBUGS appearing as a revive code is the developers speaking the same language as this page: they know the build is rough. Confirm that string in Shop. Do not expect a written apology thread.
Mindset that survives the next patch
Play the loop, not the fantasy trailer. Eat orbs, spend Cash, leave spawn, pick land or water. When Skill 4 arrives, the skill tree guide will grow. When a mid-morph gets a name, species will grow. Until then, Early Alpha is a permission slip to keep the wiki conservative and your expectations smaller than a Titanosaurus.
If a friend says the game is “already a finished PvP title,” send them this page. It is Early Alpha. The morphs are real. The polish is not.
Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers for Early Alpha sessions.
What does Early Alpha mean for My Dino Life?
Bugs, a limited inventory, moving HUD, and no public patch tracker. The morph loop still works.
Why is my Shop button missing?
Finish the first orb quest or relog after a death. The menu is often tutorial-locked.
Are VIP servers part of Early Alpha?
The Roblox API currently reports them disabled. Do not buy unofficial private files.
Will my Cash reset in Alpha?
Cash usually survives a wipe. Morphs and some ranks may not. Redeem codes early.
