My Dino Life First-Session Checklist

This checklist is the how to play guide compressed into actions. Keep it open on a second screen. Check a box only when the client shows the result — Cash up, quest complete, Speed bought — not when you meant to do it.

Before you spawn

• You are on the Primal Park place, not My Dino Park and not Dinosaur Life. Confirm on links.
• You know M1 bites and R is special. Details on controls.
• You accept this is Early Alpha. Read Early Alpha notes if a missing button will tilt you.

First ten minutes

• Finish the food-orb quest (about 15 orbs). Do it on a Forest edge, not on the glowing spawn pile.
• Open Shop. If the button is missing, die once or relog, then look again.
• Redeem RELEASE for 100 Cash. Steps: how to redeem. Live list: codes.
• Optionally try SORRYFORBUGS if you already died. Confirm the revive in Shop; do not assume.
• Take the first evolve prompt in cover. Loop: how to evolve.

First Cash spend

• Open the skill tree. Skill 3 column is normal after the August menu pass.
• Buy the first Speed / movement node. Order: upgrade priority.
• Do not buy a VIP skin or a size node yet.
• Hunt small NPCs for the next Cash stack. Route: farm Cash.

First routing decision

• Look at the lobby. If large morphs camp spawn, leave Forest center.
• If a 2x Kill banner is up and you are still small, change biome or server. See events.
• Pick land or water on the evolution planner.
• Move toward that biome using the map.
• Rehearse the new R special after the next morph (species).

First wipe recovery

• Do not chase the player who killed you.
• Confirm Cash is still there.
• Buy Speed again if the rank dropped.
• Restart the orb-and-NPC loop in a quieter pocket. Survive if you keep feeding apex players.

Optional quality-of-life

• Headphones on so off-screen bites exist.
• Mobile users rotate to landscape before opening Shop.
• You have not downloaded a lookalike script. Status: scripts.

When every required box is checked, you are past the tutorial that other players try to delete. Go play. Reopen this page only after a patch listed on the updates hub, or after you invent a new way to skip Speed and suffer.

Why the order is stubborn

Redeeming after you wander means you opened Shop in the open and donated a Microraptor. Buying damage before Speed means the next NPC still wins the footrace. Evolving in the spawn pile means the animation is a highlight for someone else. The boxes look basic because the failures are basic. Early Alpha does not need a complicated opener. It needs you to stop skipping the three actions that keep the wallet and the body in the same session.

If you only check half the list, check the Cash half. A living Microraptor with Speed can finish the rest. A pretty corpse with a VIP skin cannot.
