Why a checklist beats another essay
Early Alpha sessions fail in the same five places: skipped code, unfinished orb quest, Speed left unbought, Forest center camp, and a 2x Kill banner treated as a dare. The checklist is those five failures written as actions. Bring it up on your phone while the desktop client loads.
Why a planner beats a “best dino” shout
Titanosaurus is only best if you can hold land. Mosasaurus is only best if you will actually stay wet. The planner asks two questions — how violent is your lobby, and which biome do you tolerate — then points at a career. It links the species and biomes pages so you can read the why after you pick.

When the client exposes real numbers, a calculator can exist. Until then, a honest table is the tool.
How the tools stay current
If RELEASE dies, the checklist changes the first box. If a named mid-morph appears, the planner gains a row. If VIP servers ever turn on, the survival line will say so. The updates hub is the trigger, not a rumor in chat.
Use the tools at the start of a session, not as wallpaper. Then go play. The morph does not evolve while you reread the same paragraph.
If a friend asks for “just the numbers,” send them the checklist first and the planner second. Those two pages replace a voice-chat lecture. The rest of the wiki is there when they want the why behind a box they skipped.
